Position: 12 Months Contract Project Manager (Global Technology Infrastructure)

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing technology projects or programs running across one or multiple Lines of Business targeted at achieving overall business goals
• Leads projects or programs from initiation through implementation including multiple software development methods
• Accountable for managing high cost budgets that can exceed $50MM for assigned projects and programs
• Monitors project or program progress and adjusts resources and priorities
• Establishes project or program requirements, priorities, deadlines and development lifecycle
• Ensures project or program is completed in accordance with all Risk, Architecture and other relevant firm-wide guidelines
• Coordinates resources (e.g. staff, equipment, vendors and consultants) across one or more projects or programs
• Manages budget for assigned projects and programs, monitors progress and adjusts resources and priorities accordingly
• Develops plans and manages interdependencies between development teams and business units
• Publishes project and program status and executive reporting
• Interacts with executive leadership and cross LOB resources to deliver projects and programs
• Coaches and mentors less experienced team members and may also include people management responsibilities
• Leads medium to large sized teams in software, may also include direct accountability for people management

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Business / Technology or other equivalent qualifications
• Minimum 8 to 10 years of Project Management or Project Execution experience related to infrastructure operations within the Banking & Financial sector or Technology Organization.
• Proficiency in one or more business disciplines or functions, project managing multiple projects
• Knowledge of global and line of business project management standards and methods
• Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
• Experienced in managing projects in APAC and China; especially with experience in IT infrastructure deployment projects across Financial markets
• Hands on experience in coordination on complex activities spanning across multiple virtual and local team in high availability environments like live data centers
• Self-motivated, team player with strong work ethic
• Adaptable to changing work processes with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines,
• Essential skill sets would also include leadership, attention to detail, a quick learning ability, and highly organized.
• Excellent communication and project presentation skills (verbal and written)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
